Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

1. Framing

This Returns, Exchanges and Refunds Policy was prepared in accordance with Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14, and in compliance with current legislation. It may be updated periodically without prior notice. Any relevant changes will be communicated on the Bareo website ( www.bareoshoes.com ).

2. Right of Free Resolution and Return

2.1. The User has the right to terminate the contract within 30 calendar days after receipt of the order, without needing to justify his/her decision. The only expense charged to the User will be the cost of returning the product(s), unless otherwise indicated.

2.2. To exercise the right of Free Resolution, the User must contact us via email at info@bareoshoes.com , providing the following data:

  • Full name;
  • Telephone contact;
  • Order number;
  • Order date and receipt date;
  • Number of products and/or services purchased;
  • Unequivocal declaration of termination of the contract.

2.3. After receiving the request, Bareo will respond with detailed instructions on the return.

3. Return Conditions

3.1. For a product to be eligible for return, it must meet the following conditions:

  • Be in the same condition as when it was delivered, with no signs of improper use;
  • Be returned in the original packaging, with labels intact;
  • Include all components such as accessories and manuals.

3.2. Products that cannot be returned:

  • Customized or made-to-order products;
  • Personal hygiene products or products that, for health reasons, cannot be returned after opening the original packaging (example: socks or insoles, except for manufacturing defects);
  • Products purchased in promotional campaigns marked as "no returns", unless there is a proven defect.

4. Required Documentation

4.1. To process the return, the User must include in the shipment:

  • Copy of purchase invoice;
  • Copy of the order confirmation email;
  • Return form (if provided by Bareo);
  • Proof of payment.

5. Refunds

5.1. The refund will be made within a maximum period of 14 days after receipt and inspection of the returned products.

5.2. The refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the purchase. If the original method is not available, Bareo may offer alternatives, provided they are viable and agreed with the User.

5.3. If the returned products show signs of use, damage or are missing components, Bareo reserves the right to refuse the return or apply a deduction to the amount to be refunded.

6. Exchanges

6.1. Product exchanges are only accepted in the following cases:

  • Product received with manufacturing defect;
  • Incorrect product sent by Bareo;
  • Incomplete product.

6.2. To request an exchange, the User must contact Bareo by email at info@bareoshoes.com .

6.3. The product must be sent to: Walking - Import-Export, Unip., Lda, Rua da Pinheira, nº21, 2475-021 Benedita, Portugal.

6.4. If it is not possible to make the exchange due to lack of stock, the User may opt for a full refund of the amount paid for the returned product.

7. Offers

7.1. If a product has been purchased as a gift, it will only be accepted for exchange upon presentation of the purchase confirmation email.

8. Shipping Costs for Returns

8.1. The User is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returns or exchanges, except in the following cases:

  • Product delivered with defects or that does not correspond to the contracted one;
  • Incorrect product sent by Bareo;
  • Order incomplete.

8.2. If the return is due to an error by Bareo, the shipping costs will be refunded to the User.

9. International Returns

9.1. For orders delivered outside Portugal, the return process follows the same rules described above.

9.2. Refund times for international returns may vary depending on shipping and customs processing times.

9.3. Bareo is not responsible for any delays in the return of amounts resulting from international banking or customs procedures.
